أُغَنِّي لِلّٰه لِأَنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ عَظِيم،
الْفَرَسُ وَرَاكِبُهُ رَمَاهُمَا فِي الْبَحْرِ
الله قُوَّتِي وَأُغْنِيَتِي
ألقى بعَرَباتِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجُيُوشِهِ فِي الْبَحْرِ
وَأَفْضَلُ جُنُودِهِ غَرقوا فِي الْبَحْر
غَطَّتهُم الأمواج
نزَلوا إِلَى الْأَعْمَاقِ يا الله
يَدكَ اليُمنى مَجِيدَةٌ فِي قُوَّتِهَا
في عَظَمَةِ جَلَالِكَ
طَرَحْتَ الَّذينَ قاموا عَلَيك
مَنْ مِثْلُكَ في الجَلال
مَنْ مِثْلُكَ بَيْنَ الآلهة يَا الله
وفي هَيبَةِ قُدرَتِكَ يا صَانِع العَجائِب
مَدَدتَ يدَكَ اليُمنى فَابْتَلَعَتْهُمُ الأَرْضَ
أرشَدتَ بمحبَّتِكَ هذا الشَّعبَ الَّذي فَديتَهُ
إلى قُدسِكَ

I sing to God for he is highly exalted
The horse and rider he has thrown into the sea
God is my strength and my song
He threw Pharaoh’s chariots and his armies into the sea
The waves covered them
They descended into the deep, oh God
Your right hand is majestic in its power
You threw those who rose against you
Who is like you in greatness
Who is like you among the gods, oh God
You stretched out your right hand, and the earth swallowed them
With your live you guided this people that you redeemed
Into your holiness
